Gate City Valentines Day Event



Gate City Lodge No. 2 will be having a special Valentine's Day dinner for all significant others, friends, and family members.  This very special event will be catered and the romantic ambience set with the appropriate music and decor. You will also receive a lecture on St. Valentine by our very own WB. Alan Colussy.  
  • Dinner will begin at 7PM and will cost $10.

Gate City Culture Series - An Evening with Sid Wolf

Sid Wolf
Sid Wolf has performed for audiences at concerts, private events, clubs and restaurants for over three decades with various types of ensembles and as a solo artist. His wide-ranging musical experience encompasses Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, R&B, and Country styles.He has performed with Martha and the Vandellas, The Drifters, The Coasters, 5-time Grammy winner Michel Legrand, members of Steely Dan, members of the Buddy Rich Band, Texas Blues legend Chris Duarte, Jazz Trumpet legend Donald Byrd and many others. He is currently working on an album of original songs.Sid enjoys playing for every audience and considers every performance a special occasion. 

Dinner will start at 6:30PM and event will start at 7:30PM.  The cost will be $10.

Gate City Member's Visit Shades Valley Lodge # 829


Members from Gate City Lodge No #2 visited Shades Valley #829 to witness the historic raising of Bro. Ronald King, the first African American to be raised in an Alabama F&AM lodge.  The Brethren were well received. The steps taken thus far by the Brethren of Shades Valley is to be commended and teaches us all what Freemasonry is all about.  We welcome Bro. King to the Craft and thank the members of Shades Valley for their excellent work.

Gate City Lodge No. 2 will have a Rudyard Kipling night on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.  Dinner will start at 6:30PM and program will start shortly after.

Lodge opens at 7:30PM.

Black Tie Gala and Highland Ball

WB Alan Colussy II threw a Highland Ball and Black Tie Gala at the Solarium in Decatur, GA.  The Solarium used to be a Scottish Rite Hospital and the Worshipful Master thought it would be a fitting place for his gala.

A special Lecture will be given by Atlanta Korean Cultural Center (http://www.altkcc.org/) Executive Director Ms. Shreve Lee.  Special Korean Traditional Music and Dance Performance will be

Official Visitation of the Grand Master of Georgia and Moroccan Night

Gate City Lodge will be having a Moroccan - Themed night on Tuesday 5/12/15 followed by an official visitation of the Grand Master of Georgia.  
Dinner will start at 6:30PM and the meeting will start at 7:30PM.   Dinner will be Moroccan-themed. This event is open to the public.  Please invite your wives, kids, neighbors, etc.

Gate City No. 2 - Culture Series - Flamenco Night




Flamenco Guitarist Witold Tulodziecki will perform at Gate City on Tuesday, March 24th 8pm. Witold performs, composes and arranges contemporary world music inspired by modern Flamenco and a variety of Latin and Ethnic styles. Music selections include: Nuevo Flamenco, traditional Flamenco, Smooth Jazz, Spanish, Latin, Classical, mixed with Popular songs. 

Dinner starts at 6:30PM and is $10.  Please RSVP at rsvp@gatecity2.org.
